Hamballs are a holiday tradition for some.
2 – 1 pound chubs of Schmidt’s Meat Market Hamball Mixture
1/2 cup (heaping) fine bread crumbs
1/2 cup milk
1 well-beaten egg
dash of salt
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup vinegar
1/2 tsp. mustard
1/4 cup water
Roll hamball mixture into balls and brown in frying pan. Pour sauce over browned hamballs. Simmer approximately 20-30 minutes, turning occasionally.
